The story behind this piece:

My Lauryn Hill oil painting – the most detailed painting I've ever done. This painting forced me to really push my skills to see what I was capable of, and it was a very challenging yet rewarding experience. Lauryn Hill is one of my favorite artists to listen to while I’m creating and if my painting shows just a sliver of the soul and passion she puts in her music, then I consider this a masterpiece.
