The story behind this piece:
A very simple painting that became one of my favorites. There's something so comforting about this unknown woman. I didn't know where I was going when I started this piece but the warmth of her skin coupled with the bright blue of her hair makes this painting so striking. Also, sunflowers often pop up in my paintings since they're my favorite flower and the sunflower at the bottom of this one just brings everything together.
